What days and times does driving instruction occur?
Drive days and times are based on student and instructor availability which is generally
Sunday- Saturday between 6am and 6pm

When should I expect to receive a drive schedule?
Once student completes the schedule of driving availability form, a schedule can be issued as early as the last day of class and as late as 10 business days depending on class size.
When should I expect to begin driving after completing the classroom portion?
Our instructors work diligently to complete the 8 hours of driving instruction that each student requires as soon as possible; however, the wait time to complete the driving portion can be as short as a couple weeks and as long as a couple months depending on class size and student availability. The state requirement is for teens to complete the program within 120 days and for adults to complete the program within 90 days.

Do you accept walk-in registrations?
Walk-in registrations are welcomed on the morning before class instruction begins as long as student has the required Temporary Instruction Permit; however, we cannot guarantee that a spot will be available. Please call us or visit the website to see if the class is full.

Can I take the Road Skills Driving Test at Star Driving Academy even if I received Driver's Ed at another facility?
YES.

How long does the road skills test take?
The road skills test drive is about 15-20 minutes. Please allow an additional 10 minutes to complete paperwork.
